Part Time Dreamers (SSBS001) is the first release on separate skills black series and comes with three tracks by Deep'a & Biri feat. Gene. The A Side starts with a dubby sounding offbeat part before the kicks come in with exceptional metallic chords combined with some very nice 707 rimshots. The first track on the flipside has beautiful themes, raw toms and a subtle acid sounding line. A harmonicaly inter -pretation with sough and windy sounds, great deepness and perfect hi-hat settings are given at the last track on that side. A varied record with emotional, timeless and driving soundscapes.
